Our final Day in Barcelona and in Spain: Touring around some..

BUS TURISTICO

Some fellow passengers...

It was a bit chilly!

DOuble decker buses are cool.  People do weird things in their cars when they think that no one is watching!

Was able to catch a few leaves along the way!

Time to get ready for the final dinner and for one of the final blogs!  See you all later....

Our final Day in Barcelona and in Spain: FC Barcelona

FC BARCELONA
Holds about 100,000 and is one of the best teams in the world, alongside Read Madrid.

Only 7 decided to come on the tour!

FC Barcelona has a win here and there...

This guy was nutty, but very cool to talk to.  He spoke to me for 30 mins about the good old days of FC Barcelona and about his buddies from the 50's, who were Kubala and DiStefano (the superstars of the day).  They use to play together in their youth.  It was an experience, whether true or not!

Press box view!

FC Barcelona is looking to advance to the finals vs. Real Madrid on Tuesday.

Our final Day in Barcelona and in Spain: Gaudi

SAGRADA FAMILIA de Gaudi

Built in the late 1800's and has not been completed since the death of the architect, Antonio Gaudi, whose genius is unmatched and his plans have disappeared.  He was tragically run-over by a tram on the way to work on his cathedral.  Work has continued...slowly... since then to try and finish his work.  But no one is quite to his level, even in 2011.

Notice the detail.

The structure perfectly reflects light and sound throughout the cathedral and can hold a church choir of 1,000!

Here are 4 of the choir, singing such church faves as "Waving Flag" and "Waka, Waka".

Notice the lighting.

It's quite a sight to see...

Some houses built by Gaudi in 1906-1910.
